Uchiyama Yusuke is an associate professor in the designing department of Tokyo Polytechnic University, who teaches basic modeling and media design. Uchiyama's interests is designing methods in new communication channels.

After graduating from the Department of Designing at the Tokyo University of the Arts, Uchiyama worked as a graphic designer and an event producer at an advertising company before changing his career to the think tank（NRI: Nomura Research Institute, Ltd.)

At NRI, he was engaged in consulting and producing on urban planning, IT business development and corporate communication strategies.
