Peter Bence, Simon is an independent graphic artist, typographer and designer, living and working in Budapest, Hungary. He has been teaching graphic design for almost twenty years now; currently as an Adjunct, he is the head of Typography Courses at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest. In the last twenty years he had various commissioned design works from a wide range of clients, but in the recent years Peter has more and more inquiries from the cultural sector. His design attitude reflects clean and clear visual-communication elements, focusing on typography. His doctoral research took him further, to the border territory of different disciplines. Analyzing the border territory between verbal meaning, typography and imagery. Experimenting with interaction between picture and type (analyzing connecting points, blending the borderline, re- and transcoding the letter-form) to release verbal elements from their syntactic and semantic relations.
